It was a bright and early...well more like overcast-y and early morning for me today. I got up at the crack of dawn (5:00) to meet up with my school group at the airport. Jmike and I rushed off to Liverpool Street Station because the tube stop outside of the flat was not in service today..AND the tubes don’t run until 6 or something stupid like that. So i got on a double-decker bus and went to Paddington Station to get on the Heathrow Express rail that only takes 15 minutes to get from downtown to the airport...which is great...except that it cost 16 pounds....gjkdfsjgkdfslk GRRR. The only good part of my morning was that taking the bus was a really great way to see the city.I arrived at the airport...approximately and hour and a half BEFORE my group landed. So i hung out at the airport arrival area until i saw them. And then i did! It was really great to see everyone again and then Michael Page (MP) handed out $100 bills for everyone for their weekly food allowance. And we waited around some more at the airport for our driver. We got picked up and drove an hour and a half to Stratford, England. Its a small town-ish that is full of Shakespearian history. Seriously like every restaurant is named after a play or something with the name Shakespeare in it, for example "Shakespereince", "Othello"(properly decked out in black and white), "Twelfth Night," and many others. We explored around Stratford for a little while and grabbed some lunch. I went to a Pasty shop with Chris and had a Thai chicken pasty (it’s like meat and stuff in a crust...good stuff). Then we went back to the guest house that we are staying at for the week. It’s the Lin Hill Guest House. It’s really cute with at least two beds in a room. I’m in a room with two other girls in the group. It’s funny too because all the guys are in rooms that are decorated with pink everything...pink towels, pink sheets, pink curtains....pink EVERYTHING. We all hung out for a while complaining about the lack of sleep everyone got on the plane...or in my case the lack of sleep i got because I’ve been feeling a little under the weather lately. And then i got the hiccups really bad...and Branden kept trying to scare me...it didn’t work. (boo hiccups).Anyway, after we chilled for a while we all went out to eat some dinner. We ate at The Golden Bee, just an ordinary restaurant except that you have to go to the bar and order/pay there and then they bring your food to your table...so European. After dinner we walked back to the guesthouse and now im about to go to bed because i am TIREEDD. Tomorrow there will be more interesting things happening because we are going to Warwick Castle and seeing "Don John"...of which one of the taglines is "if you are easily embarrassed, don’t see this with your parents." So I’m excited to see it...it should be funny. Alright. Cheers! Have a great day! ...and incase i dont see you Good Afternoon, Good Evening, and Good Night! With the fondest Love and affection, Leighanne Evelyn.
