day .08: Typical Tourism and Star Struck

OH MY GOSH KEVIN SPACEY! OH MY GOSH RICHARD DREFUYS OH MY GOSH BIG BEN! OH MY GOSH PARLIMENT! OH MY GOSH THE LONDON EYE! OH MY GOSH BUCKINGHAM PALACE!

That was pretty much the extent of my day.

The End...

Just kidding.

We had class in the morning then we were free to do as we pleased.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, A group of us, Chris, Tara, Dave, Krystina, Sarah and i all went out to Westminster and saw Buckingham palace and the park. Then we walked to Big Ben.
Let me tell you...Its BIG. We crossed the Thames River and saw the London Eye, didn't go on it, just saw it. And we even saw a man playing the bag pipe!
We met up with Jmike and we hit up the national gallery where we saw Rembrandt, degas, and Van-Goh paintings IT WAS SUPERB (i picked up some post cards of the paintings i saw)!! Then grabbed some dinner at an Italian restaurant that looked fancy but was fairly priced.
Then my group hopped on the Tube and went to Waterloo Station to go to The Old Vic Theater. The O.V. is owned/run by Kevin Spacey himself and he directed the play we saw, Complicit. It was only the 2nd time the cast had an audience seeing as it was only a preview that we saw because its THE WORLD PREMIER of the play. It was written by Joe Sutton and it stared RICHARD DREYFUS himself.
Ahh!! so good.
and if you don't know who he is he was in Jaws, he was Mr. Holland in Mr. Hollands Opus, and he was in What about Bob. Those are only a few of the MANY things Richard has done.
The Play was about am American Pulitzer winner who is called in to supreme court to identify a source from an article he wrote and he is caught in between the right of press and confidentiality and freedom or protecting his family from his what seems to be impending imprisonment.
It was a great play, rough around the edges but a great play. I know that what it will become will be much better after the actors get the hang of it but for now they will have to work up to that.
I did snap a few illegal photos of Richard and the cast during their bows and of the set that included a see through floor with TV screens under it; Very who "wants to be a millionaire"-esk.

After the show it was straight to bed i was soo tired.
oh man

Pictures soon!! (I promise!!)
